Frame to Finish Carpentry

Restoration

Kåre has over 15 years of experience restoring homes and barns built in the 18th and 19th centuries. Framing corrections, such as lifting and re-supporting sagging buildings, is a sub-specialty of carpentry which not all tradesmen are qualified or skilled in. If you’ve been told to knock-down and re-build, consider first an assessment of restoring structural integrity to your historic home or outbuilding.

Detailed Trim work

Kåre excels in intricate woodworking. Elevate simple construction with more complex molding, baseboards, or coffered ceilings.

Design & Creative Solutions

Kåre’s architectural and structural knowledge allows clients to dream, design, and build. Sit down with him and draw plans for your dream home! He is well versed in architectural computer rendering programs such as CAD and can make (nearly) any fantasy a reality.

If you’re having trouble problem-solving an oddly shaped room or poorly situated garage, Kåre will offer solution possibilities and design options until you are satisfied.

New Construction

From design, to framing, to finish work, bring your project to fruition with guidance and attention to detail throughout the entire building process.

Glazing

In his 20’s, Kåre apprenticed as a glazer and excelled to a foreman position overseeing multi-million dollar architectural glass installations, where he worked for 4 years. Kåre handles new installations, installation corrections for leaky windows, and re-glazing of original leaded windows, as well as custom frameless shower door enclosures.
